The MK-1 is a commercial life preserver designed for the U.S. Navy to be worn on surface ships and submarines for shipboard operations. It consists of a color-coded cover vest and a fully enclosed flotation bladder.
- Made to Naval Sea Systems Command requirements
- Single-Chamber, yoke-style flotation bladder
- Oral inflation tube for secondary inflation
- Replacement bladders are available
- Sleeveless cardigan style vest
- Front Zipper closure
- Adjustable waist strap with slide buckle fastener
- Includes water-activated strobe light, whistle and sea-dye marker
